The IMMEX Decree is Amended

What was modified?

In order to make the content of the IMMEX Decree consistent with the New General Import and Export Duties Law, and with the United States, Mexico and Canada Agreement (“T-MEC”[1]), the following annexes of the IMMEX Decree were modified:

· References made to the North American Free Trade Agreement were substituted for T-MEC, as well as the articles referred in said treaty.

· Tariff items of the Annex I (goods that cannot be temporarily imported under the IMMEX Decree), are updated.

· Tariff items of the Annex II (goods that must comply with specific requirements to be temporarily imported -sensitive goods-), are updated.

[1] Fort the purposes of this bulletin we will use the acronym “T-MEC” for “USMCA”

We are at your service for any questions.
